Does anybody know what this problem can be?

My car is hard to start. After 2 or 3 attempts the car will start up, but when i go and step on the gas the car dies out. But when i step on the gas and keep it floored the car does not die. I have to keep the gas floored until the car is running.

does it have a CEL? if so, post the code and i will post up a diagnostic trouble shooting list.

Just because the CEL isnt lit doesn't mean it doesnt have any codes, some can be stored in memory.

1) any mods to the car? If so what
2) Do you have a wideband and what are your AFR when its running?
3) how many miles does the car have?
4) where are you located? Someone could be near you to help out with trouble shooting.

I have 180k miles on it. No cel is on, its pretty much stock with aem cold air intake
