Do your middle row seats shake?

yes
In our new Mazda5, I have noticed that when nobody is sitting in the middle row, the seats seem to shake quite a bit. I noticed this in my rear-view mirror. with some weight on them (even my baby in her seat), they don't.

The car rides smooth and the roads are relatively smooth that I drive on. Does anyone else notice this? I guess the reason it concerns me is it could lead to some squeeks down the line.

I've noticed the same middle seat shake. I don't know the long term affect since my 5 is new. But I believe it will not cause rattles down the line.

Mine don't do that.

really? It's mostly noticeable when looking at the headrest in the rearview mirror.

I felt better seeing someone else say theirs does it...but worse seeing someone say theirs doesn't. I figured it was an all or nothing thing.

I haven't noticed our shaking, but I would wonder if it is the mirror, rather then the seats shaking. I have the Auto-dimming mirror and don't notice vibration, but have had other cars in the past that showed varying degrees of road vibration in the rear view mirror.

I'm fairly certain I have looked back to confirm this with my own eyes.
