16s on "Sport Edition" Alloy wheels. Tires are too fat for a lot of snow really but I bought them and the wheels used for a sweet deal. 215/55/16 Michelin Wintersport M3s. Will be buying 205s when those wear out.

cool. so if Tirerack says the 16" steelie set I have picked out will work, then it will work, right-o? Hesitating to order because I came across a few posts which said there might not be enough clearance for the brakes.

thx

I bought steelies for my mazda6 that were 16s from tire warehouse and they did not clear the speed3 brakes because they had a bead of weld on the inside of the rim. Which is why I bought the Sport Edition alloy rims.

But I have heard many times that the tirerack steelies clear the calipers fine. Its close (by a few millimeters) but they clear, same with the alloys.

TireRack would never sell you wheels that did not fit.I have 100% confidence...I have mine on order and should arrive shortly.

16" steelies from Tire Rack. Got them last fall and, like someone else mentioned, clearance is tight but they work fine.
