Do I Downsize?

Hey all, i dont post much..or at all on here, i like to keep quiet and read all your knowledge which has helped me a lot.

Now i have a question for you (thumb)

I know a lot of people wouldnt touch 18"s on their MP3 but ive just sold my show car which had 18"s and couldnt really back pedal, but now im building this car for my enjoyment and love the idea of being able to take it around the track and down the strip (like we're doing this weekend). My major dilemma is that current my cars lowered 50mm and still sits high, and the rear wheels hit the inner guard.

I love the concept of making the car lower, cheaper rubber so i can drive harder without the major pain in the wallet....

What are your thoughts...

- ive spent the $$$ so may aswell keep them?
- for sure theyre gonna be the best thing youve done

If you want to track, 16's are the only way to fly.

just remember, the smaller the tire size, the better the cornering

keep the big rims, you already paid for them...

also just try them out at the track...

My MP3 has 18s and I do not recommend them for the track because 215/35 is just way too small. I feel like I could pop my rim off the tire. I use 16s when going to the track or for hard driving. Just My opinion.
