M mclark999 Member : 2013 CX-5 Sport AWD Automatic Dec 12, 2012 #2 You can fit 8" round speakers in the front doors and therefore 6" x 8", but I don't think the 9" will fit. I put the 8" round in my fronts using a homemade spacer and it fits very nicely. The 8" put out a lot more base than 6.5"
