I think it looks really nice. On my 03.5 I cracked up, painted the inside black, took out the reflector in the corner, put a platinum bulb in so it's clear in the day and orange at night. It looks a lot like what you have. Mine haven't fogged up yet thank god, but definately yours are nice...good job! (bowdown)

How do you do this? You have to paint the inside? Is it hard and will the lights fogg? They look really good, I want to do it to my 03.5. So if you can give me any info I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I followed the great instructions by ghost and when i did it i sanded the housing down and went out and bought some spray can primer(black) and i wanted to try something different than just a plain black color for the finish so when i was out i bought some (rough finish) metalic black. I think it looks sweet not real black......sorta like a gunmetal look. I plan to get the gunmetal altezzas if i can find for a good price. If any one knows of a good site or person who can get the hook up on altezzas it would be highly appreciated!!!!!

BTW Props to "Ghost" (eekdance) THANKS MAN!!

EDIT "BTW I did 2 coats of primer then 2 coats of the rough metalic black!"(just to clarify)

nice job, it looks nice.

its real easy to do. mine fogged up a little afterwards, but i easily fixed that with some silicone. it gives the front end such a different look.

It did change the look alittle but not nothin significant. I must say IMO I really like the gunmetal look!!!! (evil)

That sheeit looks tight, KC!!!! I think it looks better on the lighter-colored p5's. so is it safe to say that 60% of us alaskan p5's have the headlight mod now? (you, wes, & me) where's john & irvin? c'mon guys, get with the program!!!!

its kinda sad that you can count the alaskan members on one hand, but at least you guys are representing us all the way up there (2thumbs)

Thanks guys!! I did this mod in like 3 hours! it wasnt that hard really the only part that was hard was hummmmmm wait there wasnt a hard part.
it did take me awhile to take the headlight apart though...... i guess thats about it.

Yeah i agree that john and irvin need to do theirs as well. its a low cost mod that really isnt that hard.

hey, mellow, you should do the fog-light re-wire, too. it looks even toighter with the blacked out headlights and just the foglights on....

Already done bro. i had it done along time ago. Actually i found a better way of splicing the wires together ill have to take some pics of that and post it in the "How To" thread. it was easy. I am thinkin of doing the one touch sunroof open mod next. (lol2) This pic was taken the day before you guys came down!

Told ya it would look sick on your Yellow 5!! haha.. The metallic thing was a sweet idea. You break any headlight clips? lol

I think John needs to get the crackin' on his.

Still gotta redo mine, I hate when stuff on my car isn't prefect, it bugs me.

Exelent work!!!!! I used Metalic gunmetal on mine to reflect a lil sunlight through the flakes. Love the car!! All I can say is TIGHT!!
