Ding On Door

Join the club...:-)

Thanks..Funny thing, today I was dusting off the hood and noticed a small paint chipped spot. Now I will be off to the dealer for some touch up paint..I think life is just having a good time messing with my head. Haha..nothing stays fresh and new forever.Maybe that is the lesson I need.

I'm crazy about this stuff as well. In my 5's cases it's just had 3 years worth of kids and road debris smacking it around. My Speed 3 is another story. It's only a year old and every chip hurts.

It's a conspiracy. Body shops and Dent wizards are out there because WE gave them life. No doubt there are members of these organizations whose sole job is to go out and enlist all the bad SUV drivers and grandmas with grandchildren and big doors to make our lives stressful. Then they come swooping in with their paintless wands and panel blending to relieve our stress.

It's a conspiracy I tell ya, a conspiracy!(wink)

HaHa..I think you are right! perhaps Micheal Moore should look into this matter..haha..just kidding.

Then there is these lines in the brochure that tells how back in factory in Hiroshima, mz5 is 'painted using the latest painting technology.. etc..'. So as MZ5 owner one will wonder if same technology already exist here to fix a paint chipped hood. Or will they apply 'local paint' in fixing a dent? Will the local painters use the same technology as with factory? What if they conflict? lolz.

For this reason, MZ5 owners are stressed bunch obsessed with delaying the inevitable scratches, dings, stone chips.
