differances

Are there any differances with the Speed3 suspension setup than the regular 3? Question being, if I where to buy coilovers for a Speed3, do I need to search under Mazdaspeed3 or can I just search under 3?

I read the spring rates were different but I would think if you are getting coilovers they would be interchangeable as the 3 and speed3 have the same chassis. If I'm wrong someone please correct me.

same chasis yes... but the front end itself is completely different... = length half shafts, different spring and strut rates... different size brakes..and thats all i can think of right now... now take that all into account and it may add up to something rubbing, or not fitting correctly... or it may not.. i would say test fit and be wary at first before you just install them and drive away.

hmmmm equal length halfshafts probably means the suspension is significantly different that I would wait for something specifically designed for the Speed3.
