if he's taken it to the track lets see that timeslip....where is it?? it's easier to host a timeslip pic than a bad video.

He posted it the day after he went.

hey discreet im not in theis whole flame war between u guys..but dont u only run 15psi when racing and with xleyne (sp?).....u made ur dyno on 15psi right?

lol dude do us a favor and go back to the depths of the p5 section...
i went to the track about month and a half or so ago...lol dont have a scanner so how am i goin to post it...the videos were taken and posted by the person who owns a digi-cam which i dont have either...

lol 15psi is always dialed in..and im always runnin higher than 93 octane..
not only when i race but like i said before how often would you do 15psi through traffic..so when racing and just normal driving "when possible lol"

Don't think because I don't MSP I have no other turbo cars. I've got a 1976 Pinto running 26psi on a T3/T4. I've also got an 88 Thunderbird turbo I'm toying with now. Either of these cars will roast you.
So, you've got a TC that will beat Discreet's MSP right now? Or some day you will have a TC that will beat Discreet's MSP? So you are going to have 2 sub 14 second 2.3L Ford powered cars, A TC and a Pinto/MustangII (I'm not sure which it is, since I've heard you say both) I'm not going to beat up on you Matty, because I know the easy power that can be coaxed out of those motors. But unless you actually have a running car that is capable of what you claim, it's just bench racing.

If you do have a Thunderbarge running that quick, post some videos of it at the track. If you don't, everyone here is going to call BS on you.

By your logic a car that runs 14.4s @ 104mph is faster than a car that runs 13.4s @ 100mph??
Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. You do know the difference between FAST and QUICK right? The guy who runs 13s is much QUICKER than the guy who runs 14s, but in the end, the guy running 14s is obviously FASTER. Unless you think 100mph is faster than 104mph...? (scratch)

I've blown more cars racing then you guys will ever own. If the MSP was meant to be a drag racer it would've had a real engine put in it. Discreet and insidous are ricer-extremes. Say you want and believe what ou want, but I've got good money that says you will get your ass handed to you by bonestock, redneck-powered, 99-03 Mustang Gt's....

??
Well Matty I have disagree about the Mustang comment. This is a quote from Joe.
"Just saw you have a pro charged 86- cool- that is my favorite style.. Oh- if you guys think high 13's is quick, it is easily just minor tweaks for the MSP. Oh- and tires too :). There are a handful of guys running 103+ MPH with MINOR mods (MBC, exhaust, CAI, etc.). High 13's isn't "fast" by any means now a days :). Again- the STOCK stangs are pathetically slow (except the s/c Cobras and the older cobras/Mach 1 are so-so) and are very easy prey. I can't believe that with the LS1 GM's, Ford would offer this is competition... I am not speaking ingnorantly- I own an 03 and I have plenty of friends that have them.. My MSP beat them all when I had it :). Actually, the only one that beat me runs 13.8 or so, but from a 2nd gear roll, I took him by about a car and a half :).
Joe"

No, he owned his car for several months and had a 3'' crush bend exhaust on it.
He ran all the way to 21PSI on the dyno and basically stated that the salesman walked all over him driving his MSP -vs- Joe driving his new convertible Mustang GT.

Bremerton, the "pinto" is actually a MII. It is up and running right now and WILL run a 13s quarter on a slipping C3. The thunderchicken is being dissassembled for a complete ground up build. Once it's complete it will be the new block to replace my 2.5L MII motor. I'm shooting for low 11's with it in street trim.

Insidious...if you see two cars racing at the track (where all racing should be done) and one runs a 13s quarter and one runs a 14s quarter.....who won the race?? *note this is heads up not bracket. End of discussion. I know the difference between quick and fast. I also know who would win in that race.

Joe did his 14.0 @ 100mph run at 11psi. Stock intake even, heh.
Yes and I am not all about the 1320' so I don't care if a Pinto can run the 1/4 mile at the speed of light IT'S A ******* PINTO!!!
And allthoguh I like Mustangs alot I don't "phear" them unless it's a Cobra or a Mach1 those two models rock and I almost bought an 03 Mach1 for just over what I paid for my MSP with my X-plan discount among other things.

Joe is basically saying the same thing Insidious is:.......trap speed can be higher on the msp than a gt, but it doesn't run as QUICK. I've not argued this fact. Only that when watching a race the person with the QUICKEST time wins,....not the highest trap speed. By his et, a 14.4 is NOT impressive. I agree that 13s USED to be the magical mark to beat, but he's a second and a half slower than that. (This is all assumed since there is no physically posted time slip, but I'll give him the shodwo of a doubt.)

It's getting very frustrating talking to you. :) Before you asked me "who is faster?", now it's "who wins?" Heh. What conversation are you in? :) Because you've totally missed the point of this one. Please read my original post again.
