I just got a care package from Mazda. Its shaped like a steering wheel and contained flyers, and basic info about the car and TOUCHUP PAINT!!!!!

Freakin awesome. I am also taking my car in tomorrow for the bushing thing and they are giving me a loaner car!!!

I LOVE MAZDA. I HATE NISSAN!!!!!!!

found my new car brand for the rest of my life!!!

Who did you contact to determine you're #143 of 250. I have made a few inquiries with no luck. Got mine in March 2003 and got the his and her watches in early August 2003. They said it was for the wait for the car due to the turbo recall on the west coast.

Call Mazda at 1.800.222.5500, ext 5 (I have that memorized :/) and tell them you want to get your production number. You will need your VIN available.

yeah I got the steering wheel pkg with paint but i did't get the led light!

I got the paint, no light, no watches, but i did get two hats and a shirt, thats because there was a small dent they could not get out so they thought they would throw in the shirt and hat and everything would be ok. But when you use the paint how in the world are you supposed to get it to look stock, mine has a brush on the end, so im not quite sure how its supposed to work, and doesnt the rest of the car have clear coat on it too, so that one section wouldnt.

I never got anything like that. They did give me different shift knob other than the Sparco one. It's rubbery, I assume it goes on the stock Proteges? And they also gave me about four allen wrenches (I guess it's for the shift knob) even though it doesn't have a screw it in to keep it tight.

i got the rubber knob as well, just go to dealer and rais hell, they'll replace it... and the 4 allen keys are for the wheel caps i think
