Did anyone notice this?

Hey Folks:

I picked up the Speed3 yesterday and was going through the hatch area and lifted the spare tire compartment. What I noticed in writing around the spare tire was (and it was made of a foam-like material) was "MPS". As in Mazda Performance Series like the Speed3 is called in Europe.

Has anyone else noticed this in their US-spec Speed3?

I'll snap up a picture later this morning to show what I'm talking about.

I noticed this as well. Probably some sharing of parts between USDM and Europe.

But enough with this, I want pics of the whole car!!!

very nice very nice!!!!!

If it snows this week, make sure to put the snows on. Snow and ice will shred the stock tires and then you'll get that annoying drone from the tires afterwards.

It's suppose to snow in Boston?

Say it aint so! I just cleaned my car!(crazy)

Quick! Get that dealer sticker off before it the paint around it fades, and leaves you with a "ghost" forever! Use a hair dryer to warm it up, and just peel it off.

Do not listen to this.

There are plenty of good reasons to not drive in the snow with summer tires, but ice "shredding" your tires is not one of them.

A dumbass vague statement, eh? Well, considering that this, http://www.msprotege.com/forum/search.php?searchid=3054436 , turns up a total of about zero useful posts, I don't think you should be saying a thing.

Why shouldn't you drive on ice with ultra-high performance summer tires, which aren't even rated for light snow? It doesn't take an engineer to figure that one out, slick.

noob? same join date. that advice speaks for itself, there are a lot more dangers than shredded tires.

I can not understand why they put them on. It should be an option.

I got my car hot off the truck, I was lucky enough to have it before they attacked it with those darned things..

:-D

Yeah I told them up front...no stickers and no front plate bracket. Although my state requires it and they insisted, I said "hell no"!
