DG wing

Hey boys and girls, just got some pics of my carbon fiber wing from DG. I'm gonna be honest and say that I am a bit displeased with it. It looks great...from a distance. The joint were the fiber meets the plastic underside is kinda rough lookin and fiber along the edge is a bit cracky (not sure if cracky is a word, actually I know its not but it fits) Anyway you have to use the stock light as I knew, but it doesn't fit in the space provided perfectly. There are also only two mounting points for the wing so I made use of some 3M tape to help- it is actually very firmly mounted. Last gripe is that my fiber has a two inch scratch on the top of the wing. Now alot of this stuff is not really noticeable, but if your a perfectionist as I am you might be disappointed. 300 bucks, I expected a little better quality. Well just FYI. Oh and if anyone has a DG wing that they didn't have probs with please chime in.
I don't want to rip DG maybe I got a bad seed.

If you got it scratched I would tell DG about it. They might send you another one. Worth a shot.

If you are unhappy with it send it back!!!!!!!!!! That is what these guys are in business for. If you get a product you are unsatisfied with then it means that it could have just gotten by or through their inspection process in which you the customer is the last line of defense. Either have them send you a new one or if you shipped insured make a claim against them. either way don't settle for an inferior product. Plus this way if DG gives you flack back about it think how much business they could lose from these boards having an negative opinion of them. If they are a good shop then they will just send you another one no questions asked and take the other one back and cut it up for keychains or at least hang it on the wall as an example of what not to do for their employees.

I have a Cf wing from Dg, it fits perfect. If I were you I would give them a call and tell them about it. They should be able to send you another one. As far as the cracking thing, I used armor all to get rid of it and it worked. Did they send any instructions? Just give them a call.
