DG lip close ups

Hook me up with as many pix of your dg front lip as you can...I am mounting my own replica and it isn't fitting great.

If I saw yours it might help me. (band2)

Anything. My replica fits like crap and I just want to see what you guys have to tolerate for fitiment issues.

I have seen some fantastic pix of a couple of moulded ones but I can't affor to get a body shop to do that so I am on my own.

the only problem with getting it moulded is that if it does get scraped baddly or chipped, you will have to beplace the entire bumper instead of just the $160 lip. I'm about to have mine painted and then i'll install it, but it seems that with a little work it should fit pretty flush.

I'd show you a pic of my lip, but its just ****** up at this point. didn't fit well when i got it, had it installed/painted. one of my regrets at this point.

Actually that looks ok, I like how that looks. not too bad. Mine doesn't fit nearly that well.

Well for those who bought their lips awhile back, Amie, the DGM Motorsports Rep on here posted a guide on how to cut the lip in order to make it fit better. I'm not sure if this affects your current lip but I know for the older lips they did not fit as expected.

i trimmed mine and it fit like a glove. then i took it to have the paint touched up, but ended up trading my car in later that day, go figure. so now i have a near-perfect fitting urethane lip sitting here, but a local member has dibs on it.
