DFW: recommend a dealer to me

after being completely ignored by town north mazda sales people, i'm hoping someone will be kind enough to point me toward a dealership that will give me the chance to take a MSP for a spin.

Um....Try Hiley Mazda in Arlington (I-20 and Collins), or Freeman Mazda. I don't deal with Freeman for the fact that they tried to screw me when I was in the market for my MP3. I would honestly suggest Mazda South in Austin for a no hassle, no ******* around kind of dealership. That's where I got mine from. It was worth the drive.

I just got my P5 at Freeman. Dealt with the online salesman who gave me a pretty decent quote before I even went over to do a test drive. He's a nice guy who, once he figured out that I had done my research, didn't yank me around when we negotiated price. If you want his name, PM me.

i bought mine form Hancock Mazda... yea i know "Hancock" ha ha
but they are at 635 and oates in garland and the day i looked at my speed i wasn't all dressed up or anything and the guy let me drive the s*** out of the speed they had on the showroom floor. just ask for Lawrence... he's cool as s*** and he'll hook you up just tell him Woods sent you.

I bought mine at Big Billy Barrett but they went out of business. My salesman was Shawn Kahn, and he is now at Town North. He is the only salesman I would reccomend there. Bob Burns at Town North is the father of a girl I went to highschool with, but he is in no way a source for a hookup, hes kinda a jackass. IF you go up to Town North again, call and make sure Shawn is there and then tell him I sent you, PM me for my name (he still remembers my name and car from over a year ago). El Dorrado Mazda in McKinney might be a good place to test drive the car, but their service department SUCKS. For service, I go to Town North and use Michael Rhea as a service advisor. Let me know if you end up getting the car from Town North.

...and austin? was thinking of heading that way to pick up a ducati, but it does look like that dealer still has two '03 MSPs and two 03.5 MSPs. could well be worth looking in to.
time for more research.

Sorry to bring up such an old post, but hey, maybe this way someone will remember me. lol...
Anyway, my hunt for a nice MSP continues. Test drove the last one at Freeman a couple of night ago. Yellow, power mirrors that didn't work and 190 miles. Fun fun! Had a paper tag between the seat and console; apparently a deal had fallen through on it recently.
El Dorado still has 4 of the MSPs that were broken into a few months back. They're waiting on replacement headunits, still. Will be checking them out in the next couple of days.
If I pick one up, I'll be sure to actually say hi the next time I "attend" a meet or show.
Again, thanks for the above advice re: dealers; always appreciated.

you want a good deal..go to the one i went to..PRESTIGE MAZDA off wheatland rd...take I20 heading east and exit that..ask for CHRIS JONES..tell him ronald with the blue MSP sent ya...they still have the silver one there with 14 miles and showroom shine with no scratches like hiley and hi milage ones...i got mine for 16000 so u might get it less now....good luck....if he gives u problem let me know..hahaha

I was the reason that paper tag was on the Yellow one at Freeman. Just FYI, its a hail damage repair vehicle and they were willing to go down to 14,400 for me. I was going to have them trade it for a silver, and they were willing. I instead went and bought the silver one with 350 miles on it from Hiley, they gave it to me for 13,800 with a 2k tradein on my Integra(96, 87k miles, wheels, coilovers/shocks, cf hood, and no radio). I pick it up tomorrow. Prestige no longer has any in stock, but they told me they could beat 16,500 before trade and get me whatever color I want, but they wanted a non refundable deposit, so I passed. Hope to see you all on the road sometime soon.
