I'm not sure where they are or aren't at at this point... It also sounds like they have a slightly older Microtech too, not one of the current models. But I told him to contact me again if he had any more questions or whatever... but so far no response back. Hopefully they get that up and running and you guys can see that. I caution though that the tune and how things are wired will affect the performance of the unit, so who knows what they did or didn't manage.

Patrick... I also got my timing now pushed as high as 42 degrees cruising and holding almost low to mid 30s under boost.... and no det at all! :)

patrick do you have a hiboost install manual for the haltech? or maybe ahmad's?

Looking good. Good Job. How did that oil fitting get stripped? I dont think I did it did I?

Had to of been, because we didnt ... but NO ONE in teh world carries that damn fitting. So basically we bought a fitting that fit the -4 AN oil feed line on both sides and we grinded one end down, and dye'ed the end for a 10 , 1.5 mm thread to fit the IHI turbo. works well. But there is an oil leak in the oil return line. One drop here and there very tiny but my nxt task. evything done and installed be at Vics around 9 am if not earlier tomarrow morning for haltech install. cant wait (yippy)

My old rev el indiglos. Procarparts used to sell them.

Linux/Patrick:
My wiring was fine and it wasn't finished anyways, just to get it running.

Mental/Matt:
Order a new turbo oil fitting from ATP or FP in McKinney.

You probably could have gotten the right sized banjo fitting from forcedperformance.net

Little late now though ;).

Went to FP. They didn't have it. Too late to order since he needed it to be able to drive to Arlington to Victor's. The one we made is working great so far, and it's steel as opposed to aluminum.

The forcedperformance ones are steel banjo bolts... can be finicky about sealing sometimes, but obviously wasn't an option at the time.

(stooges) Victor finished install today but no map to load. for 280's need 440's already paid once. (hmm) car still at vics. need some sort of map or injectors to get car running.dont want to play with tuning without wideband or knock sensor.

only thing that sucked is i needed it that day so i could drive it to vics this morning (breakn)

Well, it's sunday, and still no map from Juan or injectors from the guy he paid. It's the weekend, and everyone deserves a day off, so if he does get the map to us today, he would be doing us a favor. I'm going to try to call Juan again.

If my conversations I had with Microtech yesterday ring out in the next month ya'll are gonna wish you had one :) (Not telling until it is confirmed and finished) LOL... Haltech's are kick ass though... great units... I'm hoping they do a good job on the Microtech that Alamo has so you guys see a good example...

I got a churning feeling that it has to do with passing inspections :) ???

That's in the works too... but it is something else... it should be no change in price... and has to do with 32. (unlike 42 which is the meaning of life - HHGTU reference)

I'm hoping to have emissions knocked out by end of January if I can..

We are also hopefully fitting a Mazda 3 with a unit in the next few months too!
