As a result of all the turbo activity going on locally, I figued that it would be good to post up a thread. I see Matt (Mental_MP3) and I are working on our setups. He is installing the HiBoost setup, and I am installing the Mental Addiction Motorsports First Gen Sleeper Kit. I also know that Rich (Apocman) and Moeed are upgrading their rides with more boost (with the help of Modern Performance modified stock turbos from the MSP)! Richards stock turbo will be shipped out this upcoming week to nick for the gt28r upgrade which will be going on to my car with in the next two - three weeks.I will run that turbo for a year or two and upgrade to the gt30r after I get forged internals and upgraded cams.

Yup your next after me so you will be getting my turbo, thats pretty cool. I just bought a set of k-sports guys I should have them next week and I still have enough for my turbo upgrade and a GC reverse cowl CF hood. wooo hoooo me. oh and my new corksport 2.5 s-pipe

Well Rich and I finished our installs. I must say that it took way longer than I thought it would to put mine in, and I still have a couple of things to tidy up, but so far all is good. No leaks what so ever! I never have to worry about coolant leaks dirtying up my engine bay!! (pissed)

Marc was tellin me about the installs this past weekend........Congrats (thumb) Theres not too much going on here in Houston at the moment......a couple of us Mazdaspeed'ers are recovering from some tragic events. Discreet and his tranny, and MP3Architect rebuilding from his wreck.......soon enough we'll be back on the streets and getting stronger like you guys.

Sorry I'm here... The FMIC kit you sold me freakin rocks, I love it!!!! nice perfect fit and it loves the upgraded turbo and the ION 3" turbo back exhaust!!!

I will have to take pictures after the fact since, Moeed didn't bring his camera or camcorder!!!! we were going to record it and take a lot of pictures, but that didn't happen.

We even had one guy cut his palm about 1 1/2" long and super deep enough he should have went to the hospital to get stitches, but he didn't. He just cleaned it out and little triple antibiotic and a butterfly job on the wound and wrapped his hand and he was ggod to go...

of course he just hungout after that and drank to kill the pain...

the car is ******* fast as can be!!!!! for me anyways, don't know how it compares to other modded proteges, but dam it's nice and the BOV sounds great it is unbelievably loud and cool sounding...

Internals, get them soon!! Yeah, I think Victor is right Rich! BTW, I hit 15 PSI last night. It felt GOOD!! On a side note, Victor, be on the lookout for a Yellow boosted MP3 at DFW Airport. I saw one with a built engine, and a Wagner Motorports Turbo Kit up at Alamo yesterday. Microtech EMS will be installed in it soon. I talked to the guy. His name is Joe, and he says he's seen your MSP out there...

That IC was "fun" to install without instructions...

The only reason the lightbulb (thought) came on for me on the pipe routing, was the fact that I had seen the prototype HiBoost FMIC being fabricated. It is very similar.
