Dent? Need some advice

While putting on my Roof Rack I just bought it got dropped and put a very slight dent on the area right above my passenger door. It's about the size of a dime and maybe 1.5mm deep. Do you think it would pop if I did the Heating and cooling with the hair dryer and CO2 air can? or go buy one of those dent poppers?

If you really want it to be like new take it to a paintless dent shop. My kids car seat fell and hit my door and put a dent almost like you have and it took the guy 1 min to fix it and he charged me $20. I have had a few other small dents and all were fixed by the same guy as they happened and they can fix them perfect almost everytime but most of the time it was around $40 when they had to remove a panel to get to the inside. Now he has some suction tool that pulls dents to make them an higher and he hammers "soft hammer" them smooth-- its an art!

I agree, PDR is the best way to go as long as it's a dent only and the paint isn't compromised

Dont attempt to fix it yourself..Yu may end up costing yourself a lot more than the PDR guys will charge you.

agreed, the PDR guys have a special light they use to see the exact size of the dent and an exact tool for that size dent. it's not like they bang it out form the inside with a hammer, they actually use special tools and massage the dent out. It's really pretty neat, and the best part is, factory finish ins't compromisded
