2016 CX-5
I have one of these on order I am planning on having installed in my 2016 sport to replace the base stereo (non-touchscreen), and I was wondering if anyone has any experience or insight. I've read the 4000nex install thread and will probably use the ideas there for the bluetooth mic, and I've ordered the Metra single din adapter, and the PAC steering wheel control adapter, and I'm just wondering if there is anything I'm missing.

For AM/FM you will need a Metra 40-HD10. To keep your factory USB(the 80-PRS has a back side USB pigtail) you will need a Metra AX-TOYUSB. Which PAC harness did you get? The combo harness RP4-MZ11 I don't think works on a 2016 as I believe for all radios they have changed the plugs. The PAC SWI-CP5 only does steering wheel control function but will not wire into the plug. Check out this forum for a 2016

Great, I've got all that on order. I'll have to return the RP4-MZ11. People had success with the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 so I ordered one of those, which my installer recommended anyway.

I actually changed to a AVH-X4800BS instead, it's similar enough to the 80PRS for what I need, and I like the look and interface better.

Thanks for the reply.
