Omg...Im so sorry about your car, but I am HYSTERICAL laughing at the responces in this thread. The stories, the arguments omg...all too funny for words to express.

I share your pain, trust me, I live in upstate NY and my parents and my animals (which I have to go feed TWICE daily) (encourage are up in the boonies in the hills. Deer Central...trust me. Ive dodged so many of the damn things its not funny. I seriously do not know how I havent splattered one yet. My father has hit 4. I think he needs to paint targets on his cars lmao!
I cant believe how smashed your car is! Thats unreal! That thing musta really plowed into you!!

Oh and whoever posted that link to the site with those gory pics of that car and deer..omg...so gross...lol, but yet I still was laughing. (Yes, Im sick, I know) (yes)

Those dont always work...alot of members of my family used those, even the really pricey ones, and they still smashed deer.
I personally think they're just a hoax and a rip off.

But anyways around here (MD, DC and VA) the insurance can not raise your rates due to a deer or any not at fault accident. They normally do want to see some sign of a deer on it though, like blood/fur etc. If not then they may tend to believe you just hit something else.
