Debadging questions...

I am thinking of removing the front emblem and 2 rear emblems on my cosmic blue ms3...
First, how is the best way to remove the front M badge?

Second, I've heard that the rear "M" emblem has prongs (or whatever they're called)... Is there any special knowledge/technique that needs to be known to remove that other than the hair dryer/fishing line that I do?

After I get them off, I'm painting them flat black like the front and rear fascia/grill things... which brings me to my final question...

What is the best way to put that stuff back on?

Thanks in advance,

The front badge just pops out. We found using a tiny flat head screw driver to pry at it works best.

Yes, the rear has two pegs along with the factory double sided sticky tape. Using a hair dryer and fishing line works really well. Heat up the badge with the dryer and slide the fishing line under and slowly move it throughout the under side. This works better with 2 people.

To put them back on, the front should just pop back in, be careful taking it off, dont snap the prongs. If you dont, just snap it back in. The rear, use some thin double sided sticky tape for outdoor use.

If I remember correctly, there are at least four, upper left, upper right, lower left, lower right. They are also quite fragile, easy to break. Get a mirror and put it between the radiator and the grille so you can see what you are doing.
