Dealers in Jersey

seriously, guys, is there ACTUALLY a good mazda dealer in NJ? i bought my cx-7 in crystal auto mall, and those ppl are ASSES...i brought my car in for lojack installation the next day i purchased it. those freaken technicians ******* played with my nav-system and even dropped my electronic key (which is kinda fragile according to manual). i also had some bad experience with schwartz mazda, who are by the way very dishonest ppl. saw some body mentioning that wayne mazda is good in another post. i was wondering if anyone has similar good experience with wayne mazda. i really want to find a good dealer who would respect us customers, and where i could feel totally comfortable for bringing my car for services.

The mazda dealership on rt.1 is a good dealership, Sansone auto mall, that is where we had our meets during the summer.

Yea for some reason lately people been saying that Crystal Mazda is POS, but when I bought my Protege there back in 2003 I had great experience with them....maybe its because Tracy quit (one of high up managers), who was taking care of everything for me including factory defect.

and yea, as BBSF2 said, Sansone Mazda is good, the sales manager loves mazda people and thats why we had meets every Tuesday at the dealership during summer......and yes the meets will resume in spring if you're curious, hehe.

oh and yea Wayne mazda is supposedly good as well.

From reading the Mazda 3 forums, Wayne Mazda is supposedly one of the best dealers in Jersey. I heard some good things about East Coast as well.

I've personally never been to Wayne, but I've talked to them over the phone a few months back. They were offering me some great deals over the phone on the Mazda 3. I believe Al is the name of their internet sales manager. He said they have the biggest inventory in the east coast, so if you're looking for a rare trim/color combo, i would look there as well.

Good luck with the car search. The regional forums on the mazda 3 forums is larger than this forum (not a knock on this site of course) so I would check them out too. It's all the same if you're looking for a mazda.

I've had a bad experience with Weisleder and Toms River Mazda and have heard bad about Schwartz and Princeton (Princeton was where the 5's in for the recall got flooded). I have heard good and bad about Irwin. Sansone and Wayne seem to be the ones that get decent reviews constantly.

i deal with irwin on a regular basis. There parts guys are real cool, and if you become friends with them, like i did, you get a lil discount on all the parts. And they are 5 min from my house, so i cant complain!!

I have had good dealings with Irwin on parts / service, they are good in that respect. I have heard you have to be careful with thier sales / financing they add sneaky hidden costs, but what stealership doesn't.

I bought my MSP from Sansone. Good sales experience, not pushy in the least bit. Service department is very good too (the service manager is a good guy). My next Mazda will be purchased from them most likely, as they have been great to us (MTMA), letting us use their dealership for MTMA's weekly meets.

Bought my MSM from Crystal, mostly on price (Sansone couldn't match the $20K out the door price). Not a bad experience, but what I would explain as 'typical' sales experience. Have not dealt with their service department.

Schwartz's service department treated me very well even though I did not purchase my car from them.

Wayne Mazda consistently gets good reviews from people here on the boards, however I have not dealt with them personally.

I've had good dealings with Mazda of Lodi. I bought my car there even though i live in Danbury CT (its far). Granted - i went there knowing what i wanted, but the salesman was actually enjoyable compared to some of the other salespeople i've met.

Wayne mazda is my dealer and I highly recommend them as both the place to buy a new car and for parts and service. Very knowledgeable, trustworthy and friendly crew there.

If you don't mind coming down south, Holman Mazda is pretty good too. I got my car there way back when, and they were pretty good about doing a few warranty things for me.

thank you guys. i just had my 1st oil change at wayne mazda. they're indeed very nice and professional. just to remind someone new to this post again, DON'T even think about going to crystal mazda.

Im glad that Wayne Mazda hooked you up.

Eh and it sux that Crystal mazda screwed you, because that's where I bought my car and till this day, any time I go over there, I always am being treated like a royalty, hehe. Maybe because old sales people know me for a while.

Although I do know few more people besides you that have been screwed at Crystal Mazda

Ya, no problems for me at Crystal.

maple shade mazda in south jersey, both dealers are pretty good. got my protege from there and they fixed a buch of stuff under warranty for me, even when i bought it with some defects.

so far so good. lets see how they like me when i bring it in next time with a diff interior and new suspension.ha

-Bought my P5 at Sansone... they were cool. They were patient while i was trying to decide (Mazda6 vs Mazda3 vs Protege5). The salesman even drove out to my house the next day when an error was found in the paperwork. Had some service done there as well -it was OK.
-I get the majority of my parts at Maxon on Route 22 in Union. Sales guys seem OK -i test drove a MSP there once. Never tried their service dept. though...
-I did not like Crystal Mazda at all. test drove a 6 there once -very pushy sales & their offer was off-the-charts compared to Sansone's... just my 2 cents.

yea man, I dunno why, but Crystal Mazda sales dept. went to s*** past the year of 2004. I bought my car there back in 2003, and I was speechless on how great it was! service that is/was. Now ever since Cindy (manager) left that place, it turned to s***. I just buy parts there because they have the cheapest mark up prices on the OEM parts as far as I know.

I had a good experience buying a MS3 from Flemington Mazda last week. They were very friendly and gave me a better price than Wayne and Hamilton. They even picked me up to get the car, even though I live about 40 miles from the dealership.

agreed.i bought my msp there and they're extremely friendly! They even sent me a tin can of really good chocolate chip cookies like a month later to say thank you for buying from them. Def have good prices on cars too.AWESOME!

Mixed reviews for Flemington Mazda. In August of last year I took a drive down to look at a used MPV. After arriving at the dealership I find out it is across the hwy at the Ford dealer and the next thing I know the salesman is trying to sell my an 06 as it will have full factory warranty and with the rebates I can have it for little more than the used. So I walked.

Then last Monday I found another 04 MPV they had on Autotrader. Called them up Tuesday to make sure they still had it and then took a test drive on my lunch break. Pretty much sealed the deal right there except for financing (I used my credit union - saved me $60-$70 on my payment). Tied up the financing Wednesday with the CU and took delivery of the van on Thursday.

So second time was a charm for me.
