Dealer issues.

I have always read about the issues on here, but have never posted until I read about someones issue with a rattle around 1600-2000 RPMs. I have had this problem for a while and after 5 trips with everything from them bending a rod on the actuator to adding washers I am finally getting the turbo replaced. I have had my car for about 5 days out of the last 2 weeks because of all this. And to top it off the last time I picked it up one of the coil packs failed and I thought the car was going to just die. This all comes after waiting 7 months for rear bushings. Here's my fixes so far:

Rear Bushings replaced
Sub assembly replaced
Coil pack
Catalytic converter
Turbo (coming in a few days)

The best part about the catayltic converter and bushings is that the dealer I went to was sold, and they just dropped everything, so I had to take it all back in again and start over from the beginning. Not good times.

I think the dealer ship, your talking about is courtasy mazda right? IMO I think they have the worst service department around here.

You would be alot better off taking it in to, Ferman Mazda on Florida Ave.(thumb)

I ended up moving to Ferman on Kennedy because I used to have a jeep and I had dealt with them before. Not to mention its just closer.

Ferman didn't get sold did it?

Sorry I just have not been to a dealer in a long, long time so,I have no idea which dealer's are still around.I know that courtasy is closed because i saw that, they have turned into Nissan.

Anyway's good luck getting it fixed!

Check out the florida section, and maybe come out to a meet sometime.

that was my thread you probably read about the rattling 1600-2000 rpms. I also had to have my turbo replaced but it took two trips to the dealer for them to finally make that assesment. The dealer I go to is pretty good and they are pretty cool with mods. I had a pretty nasty oil leak after I got my new turbo in (which only took them a day and a half, although I had to wait a week for them to get it in). I took it in for the oil leak and they replaced the a gasket and I have had no problems with the MSP ever since (KNOCK ON WOOD!) PM me if you have any questions at all about it...
