Car is automatic. Every once in a while, the car won't turn on unless I put the car in neutral. I turn the key, and it doesn't turn over or anything. I didn't know what it was, so I replaced the battery, and to my amazement, it didn't fix a thing. There was a mechanic that told me he thought it may be the "neutral safety switch."

Thoughts?
