Dead sub?

so i notice that when my music is playing quitely, it sounds like my sub is "flapping" when the bass hits. It sounds fine when it's louder, but I think the sub may be torn. How can i tell? It's not like I play it that loud. If it is torn, can i pull it off under warranty?

play music with low bass, sometimes it's not torn, but the paper on yur speakers are f**ed, any way u can open it....? do you play yur music loud?? check closely when yur playing yur music loud, if it sounds fine, then it's not torn, it might just be something loose on the speaker.....

YOu can take the front off to check it out.
I think that su only has a 1 year warrenty.
I was able to pull off a replacement for myself last winter but I have stirngs to pull .
A replacement sub can be prchesed but it is a hefty price.
