one thing that i did notice about the HID's is that when it's snowing heavy, it is very hard to see because of the amount of glare that they give off...
I've noticed that too, especially in the rain.

Has anyone here tried the Aline HID Kit from Wholesale Xenon HID...? My brother in law got the 6K - H1's and he's really happy with them. They are $57/kit and are made in japan.
I mounted the PS ballast to the wheel well and the DS ballast to the side of the fuse box with double sided tape. The tape has long gave way and I plan on putting them behind the bumper come Spring.
You will need to take the housing out. The glass lens is held on by 2 screws on the back, one on either side. Read back and find my post about doing the fogs. You may be able to figure something else out, but it worked for me (cabpatch)
being in hawaii... it only gave me 3 options.. the cheapest being $31 and some odd change
i already have HID's but wouldn't mind a 35w kit... i dislike when ppl flash there highlights at me
Find something to make little L brackets out of like in my pics above. I wasn't gonna trust tape for any long term application on these. If you have the fat ballasts without the convenient mounting tray thingy like I put in my truck fog lights, you can cut a piece of that foam s*** to wrap water pipes with to go in between what you are mounting them to & zip strip them in place using existing holes or other sturdy mounting point.I was wondering about this because from my experience double sided tape hates being heat cycled.. especially in the engine bay. Last time I did ballasts, I had to gorilla glue them to magnetic tape and stick them on the strut mount area
Has anyone tried upgrading the stock wiring harness and using higher wattage halogen bulbs like 85/80W and higher?
I'm just gonna say this once more... a 55w kit is really stupid.
there, I said it. I'm better now.
try being the oncoming car of a 55 w kit. I think I mentioned this already.. but an MSP buddy of mine has 55w in his 626... my car has a DARK tint, and with him following me for about 5 miles, I switched my rear view mirror down and adjusted my side mirrors out... it was that annoying.
