the lip is urethane, i'm not sure what I want to do with it. Friends say just keep it black, possibly have it painted black to match the wheels. Some say paint it to match. I really dont know yet.

With the Cicada's out now and being low on cash from my insurance problems i'm keeping it on there as it is for a little while.

i like that a lot. very clean. i would either leave the lip as is or paint the top to match car and the bottom half black. the lights look very nice, i think the car wants a CF hood lol

was headed down the road of evo8 cf hood among other toys, then insurance shat on me, so until I get myself out of the hole everythings on hold for a bit.

as far as the painting goes, I am not real impressed with the "top half" matching yellow and "bottom half" not.

if I do paint, the debate is to paint match : car or wheels.

next problem is I still have my skylab grill from the 1st group buy from what seems to be lightyears ago. yellow or black ?


...just trying to take a step back and picture what I want the final image of the car to be, from there i'll know what I want to paint. but as you say, a hood, blacked out headlamps etc, changes things...

whoever asked about the mazdaspeed wannabe CF plate holders, i'll get a closeup pic of them tomorrow. They look fine in comparison to the "REAL CF" i had purchased earlier. (in addition to my protege5.com plates that FADED)

anyone have a better way to mount the plates so all 4 screws are used?
and yes I have to have the plates, im on probation and cant screw around right now

also, got wax in/on the serial numbers on the jdm tails, its annoying as s***, any ideas on how to get that out? (havent tried the PB thing)
