Loud buzzing from a canister? The post before this made no sense and the one I quoted doesn't make sense either. My World Sport II with its "Big canister" that isn't visible unless you lay on the ground, is barely louder than stock.

Well, maybe that was the look they were going for on the GTO?

And how do two tips help with the buzzing sound on a 4 cylinder? I've heard plenty of horrible sounding 4 cylinders with duals. It would probably be easier to put on an extra resonator or change to a different muffler if the car is buzzing.

How does that not make any sense? A 4in hole out of a glasspack sounds like s***! Plain and simple.

Well some times it the owner buys crappy mufflers, now matter what kind.
 
I'm going to cut the header & make every cylinder have it's own pipe all the way out. Quadruple Cherry Bombs FTW!

Hell, get a header flange, some 90 degree pipe bends and some straight pipe, cut a big hole in the hood and run the header pipes straight up through the hole - nothing like flames shooting in front of your windshield!

^^^ In all seriousness though, if I stay N/A and for some reason have an extra hood, exhaust manifold flange and some piping, I may just do this for fun... What did they used to call those things on the old big-block v8's Zoomies...?

The new ones got rid of that design. I prefer it exiting on one side myself.
 
However, if they had used dual tips on both sides for the dual exhaust, then it'd be hot,
