Data Logging?

Anyone logged any data yet? Just curious if anything is out there yet?

Has anyone even hooked up a wideband to check air fuel ratio from the factory?

Here is an example of a "free" logging software I used on my WRX.

Just curious to see whats going on underneath the hood. I see people bolting on TMIC and intakes and BOV's......but in the Subaru world the BOV and Intake were big "no-no's" without engine management.

How did "get" the data that the free software used?

Connect a laptop to the OBDII port? If so, where do you get that cable?

Correct. OBDII port connected to laptop. I used my cable that came with my Cobb Accessport (reflashes ECU). But you could also buy a seperate cable for $90 http://www.tactrix.com and use that to data log and reflash the ECU on the Subaru and Mitsubishi.

So why can't you use the same cable on the CX-7?

I sold it to another Subaru owner. No software to capture the data (nor do I have the ability to program it) that I am aware of.
