Ken Mosher is there guy over there and he is great. I was asking him about some parameters for our car (trying to get knock sensors added) and he mentioned that if he could get a look at a MS3 it would naturally help ALOT with adding many sensors. He is located in (Fort Collins Colorado) thats a bit much of a road trip for me since im in NY. So I wanted to reach out here to see if anyone near by might "take one for the team"

Ken and the MSD team are updating this device daily for vehicle specific parameters, so if you would like to see a sensor added or have any questions about how your DH works head over to there message board.

Thanks and Happy New Year.

If I lived in CO or nearby I would do it in a heartbeat. Unfortunately I'm in CA. But I would love to be able to view the knock sensor and post-intercooler temp.

haha...ya, our location is pretty sweet cause it's right next to NYC. unfortunately, that's also why prices are so insane...=/

ROAD TRIP!

Seriously though ... since you guys are obviously plugged into the Mazda community, maybe put a request out in the clubs/forums/email lists that you are on? Then we could "scope up" a car and poke around and see what we can find out ... if there's commonality with some of the Ford/Volvo stuff, it might be a quick win to ferret out some new parms!
BTW, I have feelers out to some of our partner companies about some in depth info on the Mazdas ... no answers yet, but once we get some data, let's play!

If you guys with the DH want to start a list of Paramaters your most intrested in you can list them here and ill fowared them over or you could just head over to the MSD board there is a few MS3 guys there already so you will fing the threads.

I'm about five minutes away from selling my boost gauge and getting a Dash Hawk. My understanding is it already reads boost, what about oil pressure and temp? And do they have it so that A/F reads out in AFR, or is it still Lambda and you have to do conversions? If you can read it in AFR, then its a sold deal for me.

It reads boost yes and i have a boost guage and there dead even. It also reads AFR and commandedAFR (what the ecu is calling for.) as ?:? (or 14.7:1 as an example) it does the conversion for you. Oil and temp sensord not at the moment but thats what i am trying to accomplish here. My AE scantool with the Mazda enhance unlocked can read them so im sure its just a matter of MSD working it all out.

P.S. Anyone that wants to up load there profile or custom splash screens feel free.

I messed with the alerts last night they work great. I made a RPM alert it blowes up yellow in my face at 5300(booo still waiting on my FP) Works great as a shiftlight :)

I also set up a AFR alert to alert for lean conditions under WOT!! Great device.

Some splash screens already made not by me but work great!
