Dashhawk EGT kit

^100% True^, however it depends on where YOU want to monitor the temp. Its an instrument and will tell you what YOU, the individual wants to know.

Mines in the DP because i didnt want to remove the manifold. My car is not extreme, my gauge is mostly just for candy but as you drive you notice normal behavior and in the future anything different will provide a good indication something is wrong.

in the DP lol... i love it!

by the time you realize something is wrong, aka hit 875 as per NEUSPEEDs warning about our k04s, your turbo would of melted since the temp changes dramatically each 1' further down the exhaust you go, really yo want the egt to be almost in the entrance of the turbine if not in it 1mm from the turbine itself, since the pressure forces inside the turbo create backpressure=heat just like compression=heat... oh and of course friction is heat, and you cant move what you can grab, and how do you think the turbine gets spun faster by the air? friction

monitoring EGT temps after the turbo is like putting the MAF sesnor after the engine and trying to tune a car by its exhaust flow alone, in other words... call me when ur parting out
