DashDAQ-XL replacement for Dash Hawk?

While at SEMA this week I happened across the DashDAQ-XL booth. Since Dash Hawk is going away at the end of the year, I spent some time with their representative / engineer.

This unit does a fairly good job of covering all the Dash Hawk features. The major issue is the cost which is $500+, more if you want extra OBD2 codes, like GM, Ford, etc.

It has a GPS and other functions which I am sure is part of the reason for the higher price.

Other than price, looks OK. Does any of the Forum members use this unit?

I've seen this in action on my friends Speed 3.
It was pretty slick. You can customize the gauges so they match the interior and just had lots and lots of options. I would get one if it wasn't 550 bucks
