Dashboard cover

Does anyone still use a dashboard cover???

I feel it's really cheesy and an unnecessary relic from the '80's!
But a few relatives feel that it's a must have...

I'm wondering if anyone knows if the windscreen or maybe the dash material itself offers UV protection to prevent damage...
Or is it a good idea to preserve the dash???

Get a light windshield tint

Never have in last 20 years and have had no problems with dashes as a result.

All windows and windshield have uv protection so there's no need to worry.
