Dashboard/Car wash frequency

What's good for the weather striping on the outside (on the roof, at the base of the windows)? They faded real bad on my last car and it urked the hell out of me.

There's some stuff called 303 Aerospace Protectant that's supposed to be really good for UV protection (that's what fades things in the sun.)

I also used some sort of stuff called "Black Again" or something like that on my 91 Mustang and it stays shiny, of course that car doesn't see sun or rain.
