thats including paint and repairs

cool man, thanks.

looks like Sean, the V.P of my club, will be helping me fix it next weekend. if all goes well, it will be ready by nopi.

s***, thats why i gotta learn how to fiberglass, 300 is a lot, to me at least, but then again im a try it yourself, then if u **** up, let someone else do it kinda guy lol

I'll be starting work tomorrow morning, I'll fix the damage and probably give it another coat of fiberglass in the back to make it stronger. looking at money, I might be able to get the sideskirts next week :). hopefully everything works out tomorrow.

just for kicks, I talked to insurance and they say that it would go up 200 bux a year if I claim this, so no way.

Finished Fixing The Bumper

(band2) hell yeas! finished and I gotta say it looks great! it took us about 3 1/2 hours. it wasn't bad at all. all that is left is to paint it.

Did you add any fiberglass matte to the back? Everything I've ever read on repairing fiberglass in kitcar mags and books says that just glueing it back together won't hold up, you have to add some reinforcement. The epoxy or vinlyester resin is too brittle on it's own.

reinforcement is would be angle hair fiberglass matt, u are supposed to cut away the frayed cracked part and resin, and fiberglass mat the cracked area, looks like you did a good job though maz pro, should hold up
