Ok guys we need to set times. What do you feel like? Lunch then show? Meet at 12 somewhere to eat (I have no ideas because I don't know the area). Then head to the show at about 1:30. How does that sound? Or we could do this at night but I don't know how all of you feel about that. Start throwing out ideas. Here is my 2 cents,

I would rather do it early (around lunch) rather than night, for picture purposes, and it would be much colder at night.

I think we should meet up before around 11:00, wich gives us time to introduce ourselves and eat. Then take a few pics.

After that we can cruise in hopefully a huge line of MP3's to the auto show, and park all together.

Then we leave the auto show and cruise up to a park or something.

This should all take place on saturday.

Also if anyone is interested and is still in town, Thereis a car meet every sunday at river legacy in arlington, which is about 20 minutes from dallas, there is a hella lot of crotch rockets, plus tons of show cars that have bags, from the drop zone. The bikes meet up around 11:00 and head out soon later to go to an abandoned airfield to do tricks, usually about 40 or 50 of them. Then the cars show up at about 3:00, right after they all eat at hooters.

That reminds me, we should meet up at hooters before the car show. My girlfriend works there!!!!! the only problen is it is about 20 minutes from the auto show. She works at the one on collins and I-30.
But there is alout of cool ass cars up there. It is up to yall!!!!

Yeah, I'd rather go early like 11:00 or so. I can meet up for pics and stuff but my wife want's to go so I've got to hang out with her at the show. She'll get to see me drool over the models, haha. It's Thursday now so wee need to decide on a time and place. It's got to be an easy location to find for all the out of towners.

Hooters is a fairly easy place to find, it is on the corner of collins and I-20. Plus my girlfriend will be working, and it would make her happy if we ate there. But if it does not sound like a good place to go then I am up for anything.

11:00 at Hooters on Collins and I-20 sounds good. I'll just have to find it. I know nothing about Dallas but mapquest will help me there. Hey Ben, don't worry, my wife is going with me too so tell your lovely signifigant other that she will not be alone. We are leaving here tomorrow morining around 9 AM. Not sure what we''l do all day Fri. since we will meet for the show on Sat. but if anyone has any ideas post here or email me at leonardollamas@hotmail.com. Also, how we gonna know whos who once we get to Hooters??

I don't know if anyone minds but my girlfriends little sister, who is a pretty cool 12 year old, will be coming, but don't worry she is not a brat.

Well I have bad news. My car won't be ready until next week. When I talked to Corksport and ordered my clutch, I specifically asked Ben if it had everything that I needed. He told me yes. When the clutch go here, it was missing the pilot or throw out bearing.. I think that's what they said. Anyway when dealing with Corksport, TALK TO DERICK, NOT BEN! I don't really feal up to the car show that much now since I won't have my ride.

okay, so we're meeting at hooters (I-30 and Colling near six flags) at 11:00 for lunch and then go to the show. Sounds good to me. i'll make a note of it and try to find it. see you all at 11:00 Saturday morning. I just hope my car stays fairly clean between now and then!

Me and my wife will be there. About the clean car: I know what you mean. I doubt mine will be sparkling cuz it is supposed to rain tonight (no garage) and then the drive up there I'm sure will introduce quite a few bugs to my front hood. (Yuck!) But I'll hope for the best! Oh yeah, and Linux, you should go!! Don't woos out on us just cuz you wont have thge car. You've already been offered a ride so you got no excuse!!! Come on now!!!! I've been e-mailing some of you(initialRES & Linuxninja)\ I'm in Fort Worth(w/ RES) so I think we should meet around Beach ST. and proceed to Arlington to Linuxninja's and then meet the rest somewhere around Royal or at the Convention Center.
