D2 Coilovers, Squeeking noise when turning

One my speed3, recently there are some tempature change, and I figure that the springs are making noises because it's adjusting to the tempature. I notice that if I don't drive the car until later in the day, like after 12, the noise is reduced. However, since this is my daily driver, I have to take the car out early and the noise is very heavy everytime I turn slow.

I know some people say it's normal with coilovers, but is there ANYWAY to at least reduce the noise? If this is not normal, what can/should I do?

The suspension has been on less than 10k

Weird.. I dont remember D2 making coilovers specifically for the speed 3.

Here's the spec on my car. I am not sure if the d2 is spec for this car, but so far other than the noise once a while, the ride is very smooth and I have absolutely no complain on the handling.

I have the original receipt on most of the parts so I know they are not bought on ebay or somewhere else.

well, that;s the reason why i don't use coiloverz, cuz there seem to be more problems with it since it's adjustable , making the part itself "loose" and not secure.....mazdaspeed springs are great, try them next time :-)

I still have the original shock and springs. Perhaps it's time for me to swap it out =p. I really like the way the car ride now though, it's very smooth, not stiff at all, other than the noise, i can say it's perfect ride.

Jojo, did you put the white lithium grease on any of the parts or did someone else install them? Should have grease where the urathane parts meet the metal.

Haltech:

I didn't install the parts. I bought it like that. Where can I buy these lithium grease? autozone?

will I have to take off the shock or can I just spray it on by taking off the rim?

hmm....it only squeek when I turn my wheel, either left or right, but I didn't know that the sway bar will make noise! Front sway will crank too?

Any place that has urathane needs the grease or its squeak city!

sways are known to squeek if not greased properly or as they get older... not sure if that is the case but it could be.

how do you like the D2's... D2 says the regular 3 ones fit and work fine on the ms3... im hesitant because not many people have them. I will have to do some more research. i know one or two peple who have them on other cars and they like em.

I just spray some wd-40 on the spring and now the noise is gone. I absolutely love the ride. I had tokico blue and H&R on my p5, and with the D2 adjustable, I can still corner pretty hard, at the same time, not riding like a rough rider. I think i'll need to grease up the spring and sway more to eliminate any possiblity of noise, but I really enjoy the ride.
