CX-90 (H3T) Transmission Assembly Redesign

Curious if anyone has any additional info on this change to the CX-90's transmission (see attachment).

I'm especially interested in whether this change happens to correct the brief ("zhoot") noise that my early-build CX-90 Turbo S makes when shifting into 6th gear.

This change is driven from a manufacturing process and should not have any impact to how the transmission functions. If you're having an issue with a particular gear (shifting into 6th), it would be something distinct to that gear. Have the dealer look at it and make sure all recalls as well as TSB's related to the transmission are completed.
