CX-9 - style Roof Rack on CX-7?

As I was cruising down the highway yesterday (first roadtrip in the CX-7, and it performed very well), I passed a CX-9, and noticed that the roof rack runs front-to-back along the side of the roof, and not side-to-side like on the CX-7. While I think the roof rack on the CX-7 looks fine, I think the front-to-back might look even better.

So, does anyone know if the CX-9 roof rack can be purchased for and installed on the CX-7? Or if there is a similar-style aftermarket rack available for the CX-7?

The roof rack on the 7 bolts into the roof structure at 2 points on each side and unless the 9 does the same I would say not. Not sure.

I have the 7 racks on my 7 and love them.

The CX-9 is not going to be compatible, I had a discussion with the sales guy about this topic. It's a nice look, but the 7's racks are different mounting. Could be there's a way around it, but probably not from stock parts.
