Hello all,
I am in the process of getting a CX-9 base model.
I really like it - but I am not too impressed by the stereo.
I have read that some people replace some/all speakers with good results.
Would anyone know an audio specialist in the Toronto area who could do this for me? (I am not very good with such modifications myself - plus the audio guy could better advise me in what speakers to get etc.)
Also: has anyone done a complete stereo / speaker replacement? What did you take as your new unit? What were the results?
And finally: how does the sound change after some break-in? Is it possible that the sound will improve after a couple of weeks of use?
Thank you for any advice: I really hope that I can find a solution to the only weakness I have found so far on this amazing vehicle!
(I know, I could get the GT version with the Bose stereo - but that is at the moment out of my price range...)
