CX-7 car bra?

Anyone have a real life picture of one of these on their cars? I've seen the canned mazda picture. I'm thinking about getting one for taking trips, but not around town driving - so the $500+ invisible paint bra stuff doesn't interest me.

I highly recommend one if it's installed and maintained properly. You'll hear stories of scratched and otherwise ruined paint, and these are from people who didn't take care of the bra. You have to be faithful about the installation and about removal and cleaning. Moisture and dirt are the enemies. I've used a bra on nearly every car I've owned since 1991 and have had zero problems. Talon TSi, 2 civics, Sundance, Eclipse, Sentra, Altima....all looked brand new when I traded them in thanks to the bra. Modern paint chips so easily that aside from the clear bra or a traditional bra, there's no way to avoid chips unless you just leave the car in the garage. I swear by them, especially if you plan to use it for trips.

$500 seems a bit high, maybe your dealer can cut you a deal. I am getting mine for under $200

Maybe it depends on the market. I couldn't do any better than the $500 range and ended up passing. If I could get it for $200 I'd do it in a heartbeat.

Despite trying to keep a distance from other vehicles, I still managed to pick up a couple more chips on a recent road trip. aarrgghhh.
