CX-7 Brakes Squealing

I have a 2008 (Black Cherry Mica) AWD CX-7 that has now been back to the Dealer three times for brakes that squeal. In the beginning it happened only with hard stops, behind cars at a stoplight after driving 45+mph. Now it happens all of the time - slow and fast stops. The dealer has installed brake pad shims, replaced the brake pads and surfaced the rotors. The squealing continues. Has anyone else had a problem with this?

just a thought but perhaps an alignment issue with rotor and caliper??

Thanks for the suggestion - they should have done that when replacing the shims, but I'll check with the Dealer when I call them back to make sure.

I have a 2008 CX-7 that had the same brake noise and after 5 times in the shop and having them do everything you had done, they finally did a voluntary buy back and replaced it. Now the new one is having the same issue. Have you had any luck with yours?

no problems yet!!!!!!!!!! but i only have around 900 miles on mine

Both of ours had problems within the first 100 miles so I'm sure you're good.

i have 39000 kms on it.. from like 5000 to 30000 had brake noise.. i just kept spraying it brake cleaner on calipers and rotors.. and that helped most of the time... now at 390000... the noises stopped... not sure why..
