CX-7 Bose/Nav stereo problem

I just bought a 2007 CX-7 with the Bose/DVD/Navigation system with back-up camera.
The stereo will play but the Nav screen does not work. It will not open to load CDs.
The dealer said it had to be replaced $5000.00.
Yes, I did say five thousand dollars.

Does anyone know of a good replacement ?

The dealer should replace it for free for you if you just bought it. You have at least 90 days for a used car. Also why did you buy it in the first place if the Nav screen wasn't working?

In Texas used cars are sold As-Is unless you buy an extended warranty.
We do have a 3 day "no questions asked" return policy.
Also I did not buy it from a Mazda dealer, but I got it for a great price.

Still looking for a good replacement.

might as well get an good aftermarket navigation radio for around $1000-$1500
