Just wondering if anyone installed them? Checked Autoeverything and they don't show any yet. I have them on my 2007 CR-V and they look very nice and come in handy when washing the roof. It gives a more ruggedized, masculine appearance.
Thanks, Chris_Top_Her. I looked at what they had (running board w/ nerd bar) but didn't' like it. I am looking for something simple, just a round or oval black bar with step pads. I''ll contact several manufacturers later to see if any are on the horizon. I like your led sill plates and the price, however.
http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/216934940.html I got these. The wait is long (still waiting) but these look way better than those tacky rectangle screen type, here the letters are cut out over the screen.
Bolting on unnecessary appendages will make your vehicle slower, heavier, handle worse and burn more fuel. And cost more money. That's a given. But I don't see how it makes you or your vehicle appear more rugged or more masculine.
If you need to wash the roof I suggest using what people have been using since the automobile was invented - a small step stool.
This way the front of your pants will not be pressing against the side of your wet car as you try to reach the center of the roof. And you won't be bolting on unnecessary weight for your brakes to dissipate every time you need to slow your vehicle. And you'll accelerate easier and save money at the pump. Cars are not tanks and Mazda went to great lengths to engineer a strong, light chassis. Why reverse their good work with cheap accessories?
