Nice! Is that some sort of carbon fiber hood? Is it primarily for looks?

Yea the hood is covered with Hexis wrap ( carbn fiber ) and its only for looks hehe

Thanks. Really liked the utility of the M5 but it was getting up in miles, a little low and under powered for what I was using it for. The CX5 should be perfect. I had to have something I could sleep in 5-10 nights a year on my trips. So far I love it and the MPGs are a big plus.
I found this spot a few weeks ago. We went for a swim. Camera video is pretty poor quality, but from it I could tell the spray was about five feet high. This adventure was using OEM Yohohama All Season Tires on gravel, mud and water. No problems at all.
The more mud and snow I find, the more I love my CX-5!

Does your CX-5 come with headlight washers and front parking sensors?
Why are all the cool features only available on the European models?
E.U. law states that all vehicles fitted with HID's must come with headlamps washers as if they are dirty or have a film of dust or dirt on them it can create glare.
Parking sensors regularly "disappear" off of North American specs because most of the parking spaces in Canada & US are so big. But in Europe and Asia it is much tighter.

I think my Sports package covers everything available including Bose, leather, parking sensors, etc. Only thing thats not available here is the sun roof.

My CX-5 with Curt class 3 hitch and Thule rack. Love this car.
Thanks! They are a decent set of trail wheels. Not as strong as I'd hoped. Already had a shop relace the rear with thicker Wheelsmith spokes (2.0 vs 1.7) and its a bit more solid. Was snapping 1.7s every other ride after 3 mos of use.
