Hey, new member here.
Just wanted to share what i`m picking up later this week.
Pretty much all of the optional extras.

Rear bumper cover

Can`t wait to get a hold of it... (cheers2)

I want those bumper covers!!

Am I the only one that's jealous of European CX-5's with the center console navi control unit, front/rear metal bumper guards, headlights without ambers, and manual transmission in all packages? Dammit.

BTW, I see you causing a ruckus at LS Raceway.

I hate north American lighting regulation with a passion, the amber is probably what bugs me most on this. Another thing is not having rear fog lights and being able to turn on fog lights without turning on full headlights (EU and Asia allows it on with just dipped or parking lights)

Ah...so in love with this car. This is probably the only Crossover that I would even consider owning. The white colored CX-5 is just perfect.

My exact thoughts. The only reason why we don't have the center console control is because of fat asses and their need for 10 million cupholders in a 5 seater car.

I have had the feeling so many times that I would love the European or Asian car or version we can't get here. Then, when in the rare cases that the car becomes available here, the car suddenly uses its special desirability. Now I want to replace our CR-V with a CX-5 Grand Touring in red or bright blue with a sand leather interior, but will have to settle for the dark blue or black if I want the sand . . . sniff.

:D
and also rear red turn signals, the worst offenders are the ones which share the same unit with the brake light

N.A. CX-5 isn't too different in terms of cosmetic compared to Asia and EU versions. But the CR-V gets so cheap looking for N.A., Asia and Europe has HID bixenon headlights and side mirror turn signals as well

I assume the CX-5 is imported, so more of a global design, while the CR-V is made in Ohio, and decontented for the low-margin ultra-competitive US market.

The new CR-V has a more spacious feeling interior, a bigger nav screen, a more usable load floor, better residual value, and a more conveniently located dealership. The CX-5 has better colors, styling, of course handling, and is not as common on the roads as the CR-V. I do fear that my nearest Mazda dealership will close before my warranty runs out, making dealer service even less convenient, a drawback of "less common on the roads". (Huyandai/Kia are killing the second tier Japanese brands in the US.)

I have loved this thread, and filled my HD with shots of the CX-5 in every color to show my wife. I hope to add my photos soon.

Interested in the new 2014 model. Anyone know why they aren't offering the red with sand leather interior on the GT model anymore?

Ok. Good. I wasn't able to build one with that combo plus I haven't seen any in my local online inventory. It didn't make sense to me why they would not offer that anymore. Thanks!

I initially drove the 2.0 and wasn't impressed, but I am very interested in the 2.5 and how much of a difference in power it has. Still have to go drive it. Also looking at the Santa Fe and Rav 4, but I am liking the looks of the CX 5 the best and the reviews I am reading from current owners.

CX-5 was just delivered to the office, photos attached.

If you click "reply" and then click "go advanced" you can click on the paper clip next to the smiley face in the options above the text box and you can add the attachments direct from your computer that way.

I tried but my pictures of the damage were to big,.... Thanks anyway. Basically I have cx-5 with 215 miles and the kid that hit me has a learners permit (see below... he looks high). I need a new rear passenger side rim, tire, moulding around the rim, bumber, parking sensors, clips, etc..... Probably about $3000+
