I live in Maine, and with the cold weather lately, I’ve noticed that the button on my gear shifter sometimes gets stuck in the depressed position, and I can’t get it to release. When this happens:
- The shifter moves freely with very little pressure.
- If the car is on and I shift into Park, I can’t turn the ignition off.
- If the car is off, I can’t shift out of Park.
Has anyone experienced this? Any recommendations or solutions? Appreciate any insight—thanks in advance!
