Cx-5 DVD headrests?

I put some DVD headrests in my wife's Mazda 5. They're a great addition. I'm considering the same for my cx-5 but it had the active restraints. I don't see it being the type that Deploy something from the headrests. Are DVD headrests ok in the car? It's a 2016 and I see that some other years had them as an option (in Mexico anyway)

I work for a company that manufacturers DVD headrests. We have not come across any of the new CX-5 headrests that have active head restraints (in the US). Can you take a pic of the headrests? I could tell you if they are active or not.

If they do happen to be active, there are different options that attach to the post mounts instead of replacing the headrests which allow the active head restraints to still function properly.

They don't look like the active and ones I've seen before. No wiring.

yeah those are the standard headrests, non-active. You are good to go for replacing them.
