Hi everyone,
Hi my name is Thanh, this is my first Mazda CX5 AWD GT 2016.5-2017
I am doing my first brake job.
I did research before start working on the brake but apparently i did not do a good job at searching.
Here is what happen if anyone have the same experience please help me out.
I put on Maintenance Mode while the car jack up.
Then the piston came out…i bought a rebuilt caliper.
Put the new caliper and bleed fluid.
Then i do some testing:
The problem is when i release the EPB, there are 2 lights on the screen. The Brake system warning indication is flashing and the Electric Parking Brake warning Indication is on.
( those lights will gone if i turn the engine off for 1 mins, then turn back on)

Then i do some testing:
- Drive the car around - all good, no noise
- Jack up the rear and test the wheel, they all turn very freely. Then bring the car down and apply EPB, the wheel does not move. Turn off EPD, wheel start turn freely. ( when apply EPB or release it i can hear the sound of the motor working)
The problem is when i release the EPB, there are 2 lights on the screen. The Brake system warning indication is flashing and the Electric Parking Brake warning Indication is on.
