we have been offered a free mazda cx5 2.2dtt from 2016 with something around 120k on the clock.
unfortunatley however, it needs an engine replacement, as stated by the mechanic, oil pump broke, and killed the engine. we are planning on installing the engine ourselves, but i am concerned about putting another 2.2 in because of all of the problems they have. if there are any engines that people know of that would fit, and even on the same transfer plate, that would be great. something cheap and available in australia, preferably diesel, and less than 5k. cheers
