Well I installed my custommsp smic yesterday. It doesnt have the best fitment in the world, but its in there good. I keep blowing off the intercooler to turbo boost pipe. Ive adjusted it and put it as tight as the clamp will goe. Any suggestions to stop this from happening would be greatly appreaciated.

Hey there,

I'm assuming the IC side of the pipe is blowing off? Would you be able to take a picture for me of the pipe attached to the IC and of the IC endpipe itself?

Anatoly.

Have you checked your stock IC's end tank tubes for pieces of silicone bands? If they're still good you need to transfer them over to this IC. If they're not good you'll need to acquire 1 bicycle tire tube in size that will be a tight fit when stretched over the 2" IC endtank pipe and cut a small piece out to use as a sealer between the IC pipe and the stock pipes.

I didnt have the bands, I did put on the new clamp and it adjusts much tighter than the stock piece, im going right now to get the material to make a seal, i think this will work I will let you know if I have more trouble

That's good news my friend. You def. want that sealing band to eliminate any posibilities of a boost leak. You should place one at every end of the IC pipes, turbo/Both ends of IC/Throttle body, because they don't come there stock.

Let me know how it goes!
